I think that banning nacatle might be ok. why ban punishing fire when you can ban grove. then fires becomes an excelent meta tool vs random life gain. I dont think losingnacatle would cripple zoo, just make it less explosive. dropping its consistency a little seems ok to me.
you may want to have deck lists as publick knowledge to prevent fraud. MMog does this and it runs smooth.
most likely xkorpio is going to win classic poty. he is way ahead of me in 2nd place. 1st is a full foil pre ipa set of choice. Med 4 has the most value in foils. 2nd place is a reg pre ipa set.

One thing I'd love to see a bit more of for us easily distracted types in your articles is a bit more on the graphics end. Something to break up the paragraphs and give some sense of location to each section. Anyway glad to see you doing your thing and enjoying it too!
Thanks for the mention though it was not soul sisters I faced round one but MBC with a huge amount of discard. The thing is he removed my graveyard with bog but then I was able to repopulate it in time to body double the Reveillark in the graveyard and from there game 1 was mine and game 2 was much harder for him.
Vs Living End I didn't expect to win game 1 but I managed to survive and pull out of a relatively low life total with recurring soul sisters thanks to Reveillarks and Body Double. Game 2 was mine almost from the opening hand as I was able to play Nevermore naming Living End with another in hand just in case. I chose Nevermore over Meddling Mage by the way because enchantment hate seems a little more scarce than creature removal.
Vs Scion's Quest deck it was a close game 1 (I think) and not even close game 2 as he got quest (again) immediately on turn 1 and managed to fill it up by turn 2 for the armor shutting me off from my mana forever more so I conceded with no outs available.
The Double Sisters Lark deck is something I used to test with during the CCC and I think it gave the worst decks a serious run for their money. The more broken combo decks of course just won. The format isn't alway about Zoo or turn 2-3 combo wins but it can be and if Quest continues to be a top tier choice then DSL is not the deck to bring. The sideboard WAS definitely last minute. And if I had more time to analyze the meta from the weeks before I probably would have changed it a lot.
I think this deck is the best block deck at the moment. And I also think that the format finished its evolution and is ready for its "Dark Ascension". And definitely +1 to that part about the flip cards' images. That should be changed asap.
Sorry that now you have to build the whole castle again :(.
I'll give it a look, but I have not liked Metallica since I am 14 either. One is an awesome, Master of Puppets was their last good album...the rest is tainted with them suing their fans, IMO.
On being nice: You should know what I am talking about. You should let go of grudges (ie whiffy, gardevi). This is just my opinion, however. Everyone comes to their own truth in their own time.
I respect most people, try to see where they are coming from, and take honest criticism as feedback. If no one had anything bad to say about you, then you wouldn't know how to improve as a person. Plus, we tend to hate in others the things we hate about ourselves...a little food for thought. I think you are intelligent, have an interesting perspective, and probably play a decent game of magic cards. I also know you can be very angry and spiteful despite your better judgement...my opinion. I am not trying to flame you at all. Nobody is perfect, and I can be quite the stubborn curmudgeon. I am only human, but I try to own my mistakes so I can learn from them....
I think there are a number of "dark horse" competitive archetypes in Modern. I really think a deck like Soul Sisters is quite under the radar and can just destroy meta games infested with aggro. it is essentially a White Weenie deck with a long game. Check out some lists on MTG Salvation. The deck probably costs about 25-30 tix to build to boot.
Wow a true opus. I am astounded at the amount of detail collected here. If I ever get enough $ cards together (:p) to feel comfortable in Classic...well I'll still be playing mainly in the Juff but as ever admiring the efforts here and in the various clans/leagues and Dailies/PEs. Hey Im a big fan of isd block also. In match 3 last game at the very end. If you don't get a devils play im pretty sure you can kill splinter fright easily. I believe garruk has 4 counters on him and i can't count exactly but I believe there is 4 creatures in your graveyard, so you can ultimate and attack and he has to block with splinterfright or die, dunno if you saw that but just mentioning.
You can always borrow cards from me, since I am not playing. Out of everyone on these forums, I have interacted with you the most and I got you on my Skype list of contacts :P

I really like this archetype. I had the discovery doing ISD drafts that Manor Gargoyle was insane. I am glad someone is putting him to use. So functional.
This means a lot coming from you. One reason for starting the clan was to get a trustworthy group to share cards. None of us has too expensive of cards and we want to see each other succeed.

I certainly hope to play Modern in the near future, but for that the format has to survive. Nice to see more people putting effort into making that happen.

1- Just as you start promoting modern, Wizards announced massive holiday stuff for Classic which should get Whiffy wet in the pants. Too bad for people that don't play classic that this news will send Classic prices through the roof for a short term and wont allow new people to join in. I would have liked to join in on a few of these 8 player queues but I don't feel like running into artifact decks or FOW. Too bad. But at least the classic players will get in some Christmas action. I have a feeling Whiffy will have a bunch of videos up by January. (And if you end up #1 in the Classic, do you get like 4 foiled FOW's or Rishidan Ports? That's badass)
2 - Someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE explain the hypocrisy of WotC? They are having, for the "Holiday" (They don't want to piss off us Jews by saying Christmas even though Christmas is much more badass than Chanukah) Extravaganza that they will be having drafts for packs that they don't sell, but yet they say they have nothing to do with the secondary market? All they had to do was sell the packs for a short term time for their actual price, 3.99 plus tax (which sucks) and I would be willing to play. But I'm not going to pay 22-30 tix for a draft that won't make up for the money. This sounds stupid.
3 - You need to "legally" download the new Reznor version of "Immigrant Song" from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack. It's a great cover.
4 - A Tempest draft is 24 tix? DAMNNNN. So is Urza's Saga. That sucks a lot. Is it worth it to play Urza's Saga Sealed when you get only 2 Urza's Saga booster packs? I mean a Tolarian academy or Gaea's Cradle would be cool, but once again, is it really worth 24 tix?
5 - GL with your Modern group. Maybe they can bring back the format. It never hurts to try, I would just like to see if it works. I know the clan I am in has like over 1500 people and all we play is STD, ISD Block, and Draft ISD.
6 - If someone can give me a Classic deck that costs <30 tix with only basic lands and cards I can buy easily, I will even give classic a shot. That full art Ponder is really nice.
