OMG!! Is there really no way to destroy an enchantment in the set?!?!
A quick search seems to indicate: two rare ways to prohibit them being played, and two uncommon ways to destroy them if they're red or blue (plus one way to change the colour of something - if it's yours!). and that's all to see folks.
Yeah, the 9 "missing" cards are the alternate art for the Urzas lands (4 each in antiquities). This was confirmed by a twitter post from a wizards employee today.
To be honest i did not like your 11 cards.
Some comments:
1) Issuli Shell - modern tendency is to print playable pre-release cards. Pre-release card need to be liked by new players. This card is unplayable and will not be liked by new players.
2) Mox Mirror - it is broken. Too broken to be ever printed. Do you want more mana crypts?
3) Shatterday - what is landhome? is not it the same as horsemanship? Not for modern world.
4) Rise to the Odds - Glorious Anthem on steroids?
5) Need to Know - good card is good.
6) Issuli Catspaw - ok i see, all cards with Issuli in their name are bad.
7) Corrupting Manalines - Corrupt now costs B instead of 5B.
8) Mariah's Glasses - it is ok
9) Crafting Backlash - manacraft is not an activated ability and it can not be activated, need corrections. The card itself is ok, need more 0.05 rares.
10) Centaur Remnant - the best of eleven from designer's point of view.
11) Water Wielder - U, 1/1 (merfolk!), draw a card. Broken. (skipping upkeep is not a disadvantage)
Seas 39
Tundra 28
Taiga 27
Savannah (this is an odd one - a while ago was 15) 21
Plateau 14
Badlands 13
Tropical Island 26
Volcanic Island 14
Scrubland 12
Bayou 13
Baneslayer Angel is a reprint went from 30 for a M10 to 10 for a M11 for an example of a reprint effect. Whether multi's will see this (and for how long) is the question a lot will wait to see next year.
Granted this is a approximate average - MTG has prices which move constantly. Already prices have fallen 4 tix or so on most of the upper priced ones. Expect them to be the big losers if any.
Fork was already online as a promo... But how about Wheel of Fortune. Get your Liliana's Caress decks ready. Or Mana Vault. Or Overwhelming Forces for Timmy in the casual room. There are a lot of exciting cards in this set. But of course I must follow that with "but it doesn't have power."
You only lose if you sell them right now. If you bought them to play with, you've lost nothing. The only thing I'm terribly sad about is that I found a bot offering 24 for an extra Taiga I had, but it wanted a bunch of extra crap. By the time I got rid of the extra cards the offer was gone :'(
Ya the multi's suck hard - seriously take them out of ME2 and it isn't an expansion. If this is the case it needs power 9 to help increase their demand to not screw over the other 2 sets.
Hi Erik, I always read you, but this time my jaw dropped instantly. I have just purchased all the duals but Tropicals and Undergound Seas, because they were too expensive. The average cost was 12 to 15 for every dual, 21 for savannahs and 26 for tundras. How much have am I going to loose?? :(
another printing of the duals (glad i dont have mine anymore) and library, workshop, strip mine, sol ring, time vault, all kinds of uberness. crazy good card pool.
Too bad then. My guess is the classic players will revolt but the legacy interested players will draft ME4 hoping to get some lucky duels or the other "chase" cards.
The 9 "missing" cards are the alternate art of the Urza Lands. Antiquities had 4 art variants for each of those. And somebody counted up the 105 rares. Of course, we're still hoping against hope for power...
This article was really short. Was hoping for more. Cool topic though. I'm not a big fan of the "sparkly" migration of Vampire lore, and tight pants make me sick.
The problem with drafting is the cost...12$ for packs and 2 tix. 99% of the time your not opening any money cards. So you have to basically win the whole draft to break even.
In a 4-3-2-2, You win one round and lose one round your out 6 bucks. That is where i hemooraged a lot of money. Drafting is fun but not that much fun.
boo..........

Man.. Goblin warrens is going to be awesome!
I can't wait for the first idiot to play Stasis + Seedborn Muse on multiplayer games. (Will it be me? X-D)
Other than that, i'm worried about the workshop and what will it do to the classic meta.
But besides of those, the set is full of fun casual cards.
Opponent I choose you! word of command!

I guess it doesn't, so the 12 art versions of the urzas lands fix the total count of cards.
it does have 9 mysterious unspoiled cards!

Today was a sad day for us MTGOers.
Sadly probably 5 tix off the 12-15 ticket duals, as much as 10-15 tix off of savannahs/tundras...
I'm bummed today too man...=/

Those missing cards are alt art Urzatron. You just listed 269/269 cards.
whoa,
another printing of the duals (glad i dont have mine anymore) and library, workshop, strip mine, sol ring, time vault, all kinds of uberness. crazy good card pool.

Thanks for the heads up. Sadly No Power unless those are the 9 missing cards?
Oh by the way...to get the link to work take out the last %22.
FYI appears the gatherer now has most of MED4 up - note 9 cards.... not listed 260/269 ;)

I am annoyed about the multis as they were rares for the last 2 sets and to reprint them all is demeaning to now to the quality o those 2 sets.

Indeed - depending on how many articles it can take up to a week between a writers submission and them being published. Usually 1 - 2 days.
Fortunately you will find most writers/articles on this site are original works/effort.
Which is a big credit to the community (pat on back to all who contribute - and thanks as a fellow reader.)

I'd rather play constructed.
