My improvements didn't improve much apparently. Anyhow it was a good event. I played a few games today so that was fun, the league will make it easier for my schedule. Good job on the article Olaw.
swiss is good, gives you a guarantee of three rounds which is nice for writing up games. Somewhat lower quality of players in swiss, but its not that drastic a difference between swiss and 8-4.
I disagreed with some of your picks, but i do think the turbine is very underrated. Even without the tutoring, it creates easy metalcraft, tons of chump blockers and possibly enough to swarm and kill with. I like it 1st pick as opposed to taking a colored card, though corrupted conscience could be stronger.
I'm of the opinion that Anatomist is the stronger card. Next to Corrupted Conscience, best Uncommon in the set. Beside the Marauder/Corrupter/Blightwidow, your Green was just soso. However, can't argue with success! :) Keep it up!
I read your articles regularly and I must say that you do a fantastic job, both visually and content-wise. We all appreciate your hard work. Thanks for 4 great years.
I must say that I most enjoy the SOM block articles you write. They really helped me understand the format and reading discussion on the major archetypes was very helpful. Keep up the good work!
A powerful feeling, Keya indeed. Well said. And Community builder does seem a fitting epitaph. Erik has moved me to mourn for weeks now. His loss will echo and reverberate for a long long time.
I should also add a thanks to you guys for bringing this one last time. I hope you can find a way to keep doing casts even if they aren't "freed from the real" or what not.
Congrats! Running into you in game, I think you're the one who pointed me to puremtgo in the first place. Thanks for all the informative articles!

I enjoy reading your articles, especially BYOS (as that format is infinitely interesting to me) and your constructed block articles that come out a few weeks after a new set is released in which you make predictions on what you think the new decks in the format will be. Found you've been spot on a lot of times. Congrats on the four years of writing articles and wish you success for many more years to come.
I even had to register to give a comment :)
I belive I've read all your articles for the past 6 months, and I have never played in any of the crazy formats you write about. And I dont intend to either.
I just enjoy reading what you write!
I'm Looking forward to read anything (oh well, almost) you write about!
Thanks everyone for the comments (including the random.org guy!).
@Ranth: Your comment about Stargate Online is a proof that you never played a SOE game before. You want some advise? Keep it like that. Really, you don't want to get into all the trouble me and hundreds of other players got into. But if you want a longer and more detailed answer to your question, then PM me sometime online and I can tell you some of the nightmares I had to go through.
@AJ: The pleasure was mine.
@voices clear: I'm glad my articles helped you winning a tourney. That's really great to know.
Love your articles, even for formats I have never played. Your style and perspective are refreshing and a nice change when faced with mostly netdeck and tournament reports (not that I do not enjoy those). I registered just to post positive feedback for your series. PS I also like free booster packs.

i have read your article for a while and i normally really like you som block con and your std decks, actually one of your som block decks helped me win a tourny i was in because i had most of the decks being played already veiwable so i could just find it on here
Congrats on 4 years bud. Interesting article as usual.
Anyhow Just wondering why would you completely drop stargate online like a bad habit?
Was there no money to be had in the tourney scene?
I realize that it's not always about the money but being #2 in the world you'd figure that's a pretty big accomplishment and a hard one to just walk away from.
Love your articles.

@dragonstout Thanks Andy!
@StealthBadger Yeah, that's bad luck. I submitted this article a week ago before the "Rogue's Recipes" announcement. Oh well!
