Clan CerealKillaz has donated another 20 Tickets! These will be distributed as "door prizes" to 20 random players who did not receive any other prizes.
You don't always have brainstorm + Miracle, you can only do this so many times (one timewalk is basically explore for blue, awesome, but not breaking), and there are hate cards (even just FoWing and can you imagine dazing this on their t3?).
Anonymous has donated 10 Tickets! The donor's wishes are 5 to Hammybot/Erik's family, and 5 to Prize Pool. These will be distributed as "door prizes" to 5 random players who did not receive any other prizes.
I really don't see how Miracle is not completely overpowered in eternal formats. I have not played with it yet, so can not be 100% sure but it just seems so obviously broken in Legacy with Brainstorm, Jace, and Personal Tutor or in Classic with those plus Vampiric Tutor and Imperial Seal. WOTC has to know this though, this doesn't seem like something that needs to be discovered, but very obvious looking overpowered cards. Maybe WOTC thinks it is worth it to have chaos in the eternal formats until June 20th to have these in Standard. Maybe WOTC thinks thinks having essential eternal staples as mythics will help sell more packs. Maybe WOTC wants to create an unfair and broken environment in eternal formats to create hype and so people can tell stories about how broken this time was in a couple years. Or maybe I am wrong, and they will be not as powerful as I think. I don't think this can be a huge mistake, as this just seems to obvious to me, and I am pretty sure they could figure out that Miracle+Brainstorm is pretty good.
Miracle as AJ says is a neat trick. Be wary in limited games. Will it be playable in constructed? I dunno. Metalcraft has had limited success and I think Miracle is very similar in the problem of its execution.
This is Pete, Both my comp and Mikey's comp are both kinda on there last legs so their performance is not exactly optimal at this point and with MTGO, Teamviewer, Skype, and recording software running there is some lag between communication between the two of us. I don't believe either of us intentional try to cut each other off as it is an unfortunate accident.
The problem is he cuts out for me, because both of our connections suck. Sometimes he doesn't even talk because he doesn't hear what I say until 5 seconds after I've said it and sometimes its the same for me. I'm not trying to talk over him at all... It's just sometimes we don't hear each other until it's too late.
Wow, I did miss that interaction, I wasn't even thinking about thrill of the hunt and it ended up costing me the game. Thank you for the help, hopefully I don't make this mistake twice in the future.
You did lose G3 against Delver because of a mistake. The turn you attacked and he chumpblocked with 2 creatures and after that you played Spinneret Sliver, you should have played the sliver before attacking and after that, flashback thrill of the hunt on the bear so he can't chump with it. That way you would have won.
It's kind of awkward to listen to how often you abruptly cut off your friend when he's in the middle of saying something. This is a recurring theme through most of your vids.
Thanks walkerdog - I will try to add even more logic and analysis in future articles as I am really just scratching the surface so far compared to the stock market analysis.
Good point on the PTQ season starting effecting the price, I agree. In terms of the potential ban, I do mention this as a key risk in my analysis and agree that if Delver gets banned it will greater affect pike.
I think your estimate might be a little on the low side for Runechanter's Pike. This is the card every control deck will use once all the swords rotate. I expect it to explode in value.

It's strong, but it's not JaceTMS.

I have a really odd habit of losing to the tournament winner in the first round. It happens a lot.

Very cool article--keep it up

Vines has the added ability to target your opponent's creatures as well, screwing up pump, enchantment and equips.
To expand on "probably not a great buy" (imo):
Large set RARE (not mythic) that needs a very specific deck (sorc/int + creatures all balanced to one effect).
On the other hand, it's colorless, so maybe it will!

Slivers! I love Slivers. I might play pauper just so I can play this deck.
