Full Name: Mike Mullins
Biography: Magic: the Gathering was the first collectible card game I played (starting with Unlimited), and since I started playing in college, I have tried my hand at more than a dozen collectible card games, playtested a few, and even designed one. By the time I took a hiatus from Magic (Weatherlight), I was a pretty good player and did well in the sole large tournament I attended (Visions pre-release in Orlando), but the national circuit for Magic was just taking off. While I didn't travel across Florida to find local cash tournaments, I did play with a few local players who made a living doing so and very much held my own against them. During my time playing CCGs, I have played Star Trek, Star Wars, Vampire: The Enternal Struggle, Netrunner, Battletech, Blood Wars, Wyvern, Mythos, Legend of the Five Rings, Legend of the Burning Sands, Call of Cthulhu, Versus, Warhammer 40K, Magi-Nation, Warlord, and probably a few I am forgetting. Of the other games I have played, two of them I played very successfully at a national level: Warlord and Call of Cthulhu. At this point in my life, I rarely have more than an hour at a time to devote to playing, so anything beyond casual is simply out of reach for me.
