One of the best strategy draft articles ever on this site. Well presented very knowledgable and well crafted. Hats off to you Sir. This sets a high benchmark and I hope you keep writing for PureMTGO.

I think heart is often overlooked. I know I've seen several Legacy decks I tried playing, most of them Counterbalance related and everytime I end up going back to Thresh builds. I think it's because I'm passionate about Thresh, I love the concept of it, I love the synergy of it and most of all, I love the fact that it's mine because It has personal meaning to me.
Netdecking is ok to a certain extent, but at some point players will get burnt out doing that and then all of the sudden they don't feel like playing Magic anymore.
Regarding bluediamond's deck, the usually excessive 4x mana drains are slightly overlooked. The 2x tezz is there to enable petal => drain into tezz to present a 1 turn clock. His reasoning for relics are to get around white leylines which some of the other hate can't get around. I'm personally find spellbomb > crypt > relic (hard to use and pop)
Before blightsteel colossus, sphinx was a good choice considering it beats all non duplicant workshop creatures (dragon, wurm, golem) and also beats random decks. It is weaker against certain matchups but shops are probably more prevailent than those matchups. Sphinx also lets u recover from a creature filled board... but bsc is in now. Possible 1 turn clock >>> 3 turn clock. =)
The Black Suns don't add up in the list and after he searches his Library through Vess, you can see that there are 3 duress in the deck, which are the 3 remaining cards from the list.
lol i think i might wait till RDW becomes a powerhouse again. to clarify purely monored so i can avoid dual lands. Otherwise Ill be waiting til im out of college. But we will see lol.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I had another video (the finals from a later draft) that I was going to try to post as well, but I was on a tight schedule since the release was Wednesday; and my poor computer has a hard/long time publishing videos and uploading them to youtube. I hope to have more up next week.
Very entertaining article as always. Nice videos and commentary, shame you lost the videos for the first round though, would have been nice to see a little more content.
Yeah the links should kick in soon, probably after release events since that normally seems to be the timeline. Otherwise the only way is a more complicated HTML copy/paste from gatherer or magicinfo...

This is a great series. I look forward to the rest of the installments.

Echo the need to feel and have heart with a deck and love the paper MTGO blur.
Enjoyable article.

stop givign away the money!!!
Preparing for the PMP certification doesn't have to be very hard as long as you have satisfactory project management books and guides
very nice & great content
I think he will drop but not as low as Koth did. Maybe around 20-25
I tend to disagree seeing as how he can be played with Jace. Depends on what deck is found to beat Caw-Go.
Most likely it will drop like Koth (from 40 to 15).
UB Tezzeret is not The Great Jace.

lol, be 'better' if I read it to everyone and personally showed them each deck too. At some point, you have to 'finish' and post.
Your MBC list is missing 7 cards I think?
Always an enjoyable taste of classic. A format that I don't play nearly ever. However, I like keeping up on theory of it.
That is a shame Karl, it was great knowing/playing with you. Come visit some time. Enjoy warhammer etc.
say ty for all the entertainment over the years
for thoses that know me my time with MTGO has come to end, collection has now gone, sold, i move to other past times
Guys it been a blast but just time for me to move on
Thx all been lots of fun
The plan is to make the rules for commander mirror the rules in paper. Not sure if it will ever happen, but I personally think they should.

Godot is on QuietSpeculation.com sporadically and usually in vids. Which is sad, b/c he and Web have the two best walkthrough in existence.
Tezzeret under 30 is sweet. Just picked up my first copy. I could see him getting up to about 50-60 after release events are over ala Jace.
