WotC finally publishes some details regarding prize splitting on MTGO... and it's not exactly what people were hoping for. Also, the M11 Champs events are coming up fast; and if you're qualified it's a pretty important tournament!

In preparation for my first MOCS, I've been grinding non-stop in the Tournament Practice room with my UW Control build. In my last article before I take the plunge into early morning and late night tournament play with accompanying (And quite boring!) analysis articles, I'd like to pause and mull over some afterthoughts that have been floating around my head over the last week. New UW builds, baseless Scars speculation, sheer randomosity and EVEN more run-on sentences abound after the break!

There are a lot of harem cards in M11, but only a few of them will make my cut.
I played in a number of M11 drafts recently. I want to talk about two of them, because they felt very different. In one, I played a very mana intensive ramp deck, and won. In the other, I played a very mana light deck, and won. In each case, the drafts relied on commons - Mighty Leap and Cultivate. Pretty different, eh?
This week Splendid Belt gets over his frustrations with the MTGO client by creating a Standard deck with one aim: To win, and to make it as unfair as possible on his opponents. Wait, is that two aims?
